Walmart Won't Sell Me Antifreeze

not child resistant enough? Some of these new jugs are hard for adults to get into without tools... the thumb button is hard to push and you have to jam the thumb button through the foil, I gave up on trying to use my thumb...

Thumb thru the plastic reinforced foil? That is why god gave us screwdrivers!

I work on stuff currently in my driveway, when I'm adding coolant I don't usually have a screwdriver handy... at least the coolant jugs have the lid lock, the oil jugs with the near bullet proof seal are getting more ridiculous :). Then there's the jug I bought that started leaking out the seal when I got to about 4500ft elevation and I lost half a quart since it was on it's side...

Of course the other day I was dealing with a larger amount of coolant than normal... the 7.3L holds like 7 gallons...

Once I get my shop built and I'm not working on stuff in the driveway when the weather permits (hasn't stopped raining consistently yet this year...) I'll probably be less cranky on small inconveniences :). When I was doing the radiator and water pump on the 7.3L it was raining then turned to 15mph consistent wind to 30 mph gusts, the popup I had for the rain wasn't liking that...

It’s a tough call.

We live in small town America, we try to buy local when we can, the prices are a little higher but they have what you need (maybe not exactly what ya want) ...... and you don’t have to drive 30 miles....one way.

If the government would get out of our way, we’d be fine.

Thank the Karens

I used to feel that way too, but now at least there is a damned actual store. Soon we'll look back at these as the good old days before Amazon drove every actual store out of business. I still hate WalMart, but I hate Amazon a lot more.
Not to worry, for I have the same fears, which is why I try to buy local first...it used to be find the best bargain, now I am willing to factor a margin of error on price for the sake of shopping locally. So pretty much if possible, I start at a local mom and pop shop trying to preserve quality stuff first... if they have it, I will gladly pay a buck extra for their necessary profit margin markup. If not, I will try the big box store, which usually has crappier stuff...after that I will try at least an individual seller off ebay...Amazon is my absolute last resort (I dont even have an account, but will have a buddy order it and hand him cash). Its a losing battle, but Id rather go down fighting.

There's an old ACE Hardware store a mile from me. IT was there long before the Home Depot and Lowe's moved into town. I still go to the ACE unless they just don't have what I need, and that's rare.

More like Spyderco knives. LMAO!!

I always have at least two on me, one left and one right. In the pic, the one on the left was bought in 1996 when the Military first came out. The other two were bought in 2012. One is a right hand model, the other a left hand version, which are rare. Yup, one left, one right.

I like going to Ace but they NEVER have what I need unless it is drill bits, grinding wheels, or rubber faucet washers. Those seem to be the only useful things my Ac3 stocks.

The warehouse cant keep up with the demand. Most of the things they are loading on the trailer is online orders that people pay for and dont pickup, I dont get it.

Wal-Mart: free to get in, at least $100 to get out.

The only reason I ever go to walmart is to ride the bumper cars.
