My 1999 2.5L 2WD has broken vacuum lines. Is it possible to buy the lines (and where)? I have a gray one that comes out of the firewall and is broken by the coolant overflow. There is no rest of the tube. There are 2 running from the intake, etc. to on top of the fender skirt. They seem OK after I jumpered out the black broken one with hose. Is the Vacuum reservoir back by the firewall? like I have seen or up front? Both are in this forum. Should I just order a new vacuum reservoir? What are the odds of it being broken when I pull the skirt?

Can a mod move this from the 2019+ section?

Yes we can...

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section. I'm a newbie.

Does your truck still have the vacuum diagram sticker on the core support?

Thank you.
Yes it does. I just want some advice before I get into it. I am a grampa and love to work on things, but my abilities are limited. I do not need any extra work. I spent 2 hours getting the coolant/wiper reservoirs out to get to this point.

Vacuum line should be available at your local auto parts. Take a piece with you to match the size.

Your vacuum reservoir should look like a ball...

These are readily available. It should be mounted on the right inner fender well. It sounds like yours is missing... which tells me you may have issues with the heater controls. I don't remember having to remove the fender liner to get at it. But I'm a grandpa too... and my memory may be off.

Thank you again. I will be tackling this with help from a young and strong.
