The top pic is what I have now just no doors. The lower pic is not what I plan on it looking like. Is that a 4 seat ranger?

My plan is to keep my bed and add new tubing from the b-hoop forward. But the sides will go from tire to tire.

If you want reliable I would steer far away from the duraspark setup. Those boxes never seem to last too long. I don't know if they don't like shock or vibration or what, but the die, often. If you do go that way at least grab yourself some extras to keep as spares.

Probably will get a extra ignition module. So far I have the distributer and 1 module still need a coil and a harness.

No cutting until winter. If it stays dry I have a lot of wheelin to do this fall like going to Harlan for the first time in September. I'm just making plans and gathering parts.

We will be going for a few days between 9-15 and 9-20 probably 16th-19th. Me and two other guys all took a vacation week to go but I had something else come up so for me the trip is cut in half.

We ran to Autozone, snagged some u-bolts, fixed it in the campgrounds, wheeled the rest of the day at Wishbone, then wheeled Interlake the following day. This is at Interlake:

Thanks Bray for the pics and for the help Saturday getting it fixed and back on the trail.

After seeing those high dollar rigs at Wishbone I have changed my mind about the tubing on my truck. Instead of keeping my bed and building off of it I'm going to take the bed off and start over.

Also ordered a 1.75" die. The 1.5 tube just looks too small.

Took a couple of days off but after getting a cortisone shot in my knee yesterday I'm feeling much better. So started cleaning the 5.0 and painted the top half of it.

Yeah slo-vo and I had a accident with the passenger door glass so we decided to take the doors off. Glad we did and I doubt they go back on before the cab comes off.

Got the intake manifold and the valve covers on and torqued down tonight.
