I had a 1988 Chevy Sprint at one time. Dinky car. Not much to it. I was definitely not made to keep on the road long term. It did have a carburetted 3 cylinder engine and a manual transmission. Not a speed demon but not slow either.
Like a 2.9, you better not let it over heat, or you'll be replacing the engine.
