Gave me an idea: do we have a thread for truckspotting?

The stories that truck could tell...

I've seen a few interesting Rangers while out and about... I'm just never quick enough with the camera.

I like the idea... I will try to be quicker and add to this thread.

Awesome. I've seen quite a few RBVs worth snapping photos of. Then I realized I don't have friends ??‍♂️

a ranger with a service body and rear hoist? Id like to see that rear suspension

Cab chassis could have a 8.8.

A friend of mine sent me this:

30521

After loading the truck which was a circus because he forgot jackstands the rig was later spotted on the side of the road several miles out of town.

They did make a cab chassis at one point. So a utility bed would make sense. The setup is probably similar to whatever they used for the mini RVs that were out there for a brief period of time.

never saw a RV ranger, seen plenty of toyotas back in the day with a RV body, saw one without the body that was made into a flatbed, kind of cool- dually flatbed mini-truck. Im considing a way to mount my engine hoist in the back of my bed, like a wrecker boom. have something heavy to move. (yes, I wish my allis had a 3-point hitch, a boom would do the job on the back of the tractor) One of these days I’ll build a 3-point or buy a kit.

One used to be able to buy the dually conversion kit on LMC Truck and JC Whitney at one time too. I think this and the utility bed truck are the reason they came out with the 1750# leaf springs.

wow, I do remember the jc whitney dually kit.Ive seen a couple of “dually” rangers before. saw one ranger with the dually fenders but no duals, just really wide rear tires on it.

Kinda looks like that dude would enjoy a good blast from your "Sprinkle Cannon"
