Truckspotters

Nothing wrong with battleship gray except for the appearance packages required to attain it. I like the recent trend towards non metallic colors, it makes bodylines look crisper and less fuzzy.

Toyota has a neat non metallic tan (sandstone) and dark green (army green) I like too. Meanwhile Ford sits in the corner eating erasers wondering what new metallic silver they should come up with to go with the other 50 shades of gray they already have.

Agreed. I like those “flatter” colors myself. Ford and Chevy seem to be fixated on flashy colors or some form or grey or silver. I’m personally sick to death of red. I’m not sure I’ll ever own a red vehicle again for the rest of my life.

The only Ford flat color i can think of is Grabber blue, i like it , even though it's really Bugatti blue

Between the Huskers, Cyclones, International Harvester and all the people that just like red it is really popular around me.

Honda had some really nice colours on their 2009-2013 Fit. They had a brown/orange that was almost the same colour as a shiny penny. They had a pale blue that when the light it it just right turned pink, or if the light caught it a little differently it was grey. They had a really dark purple, and an incredibly dark red (or purple?) that was almost black.

Ford recently has had some nice colours, too. The 2012 Focus could come in a "blue" that was actually purple. *giggle* My friend has that colour. I told him a while back that the car was purple, and he said that Ford says it's actually blue. The 2012 and up Escapes come in a really nice dark blue.

i see this Ford alot. it sits really high, but looks and sounds good

I see this pair of unusually clean first gen explorers at a body shop quite frequently. I'm pretty sure the one that's by itself is daily driven by one of the guys that works there. Rare to see them this nice in Pittsburgh.

Also, is this one of our people??

Right you are. Road salt has claimed most of that vintage already.

Sir! Sir! Surrender that supercharged Toyota immediately! We need your parts to build more RBVs!

The guy driving it looked genuinely confused as to why I had my camera out. Joke is on you, buddy. I know what that soccer mom special has under the hood...

Im not even sure the make of it. But its bad ass. Plus its hooked to a modern milk tanker so it must still be makin someone money.

I found this guy trying to wiggle around the corner of the building over my noon hour. There were two other cars on the other side of the Taurus, no idea why he was trying to go that way.

FYI that trailer has no brakes or lights because it is not meant to be pulled by a pickup.

That's a Chevy, isn't it?
