TRS Moderator Survives Head On With Semi Truck

Truck is home. Adjuster is coming this afternoon and after that we can start cutting off twisted metal. The transmission case was torn in half so that's one thing that didn't make it. Not looking good for the t-case as the flange is still bolted to the driveshaft, which is not connected anymore, and the speedo drive gear is in the bed of the truck. One radius arm was torn in half. I'm hoping the front diff survived as well as the Warn 37780s and rear axle. That can all go on a new truck and is a couple thousand worth of parts.

The crank balancer broke off so the block is probably wasted. We are going to make a wine rack out of it for my wife I think.

Good luck with the scavenging. Are you healing up ok?

We are screwed anytime we hit something that isnt smaller then us. You hit a tree, bridge, or god forbid, take another truck head on, youre done. Period.

Right. That's why the trick is to not hit stuff.
