You are old. That's not my fault.

It's 11pt Garamond. At 12pt it adds 40 pages, which adds to the price and reduces the consumer base that is aiming at 250 pages. I can do it though. I've found several small errors too so at some point it will need a revision. I want to put the inside drawing on the cover, but my artist was drunk or something so I had to make do with a last minute photo session.

By the way, my mother-in-law was wishy washy about where you are in it. She's done now and called me today to say she is going to market it for me around town. So have faith. If your mother-in-law likes your work, you can't suck.

I'm actually enjoying it so far - I don't want to put any spoilers in the forum, but I'm probably about 1/3 of the way though the book.

This morning I finished at a point where it was something of a cliffhanger and it was on my mind all day until I was able to read more on my way home

i am gonna order it , and i understand the hassle of moving , i lived in the same place for 17 years , then had to move it all out in a month before we sold the house , i can't imagine moving with the amount of stuff you have

will book so far is great!! im at i think ch.5 the one called "change of command" so far i understand everything you talked about with the constuction of the boat and the engine terms someone that isnt familer with that sort of thing might have a bit of trouble with it but its not too bad.

I finished it this weekend, and I hope more TRS members get it, it's quite an enjoyable read. As I got closer to finishing it I kept hoping that there would be more, that's for sure. I'll put a more in-depth review on Amazon, but if you've got the time to be reading at all, you should pick up Will's book

It's been unavailable for a couple of days because I sent in several corrections that needed to be made. It is back on CreateSpace now though.

As the the technical part, I think it has to be there as proof that it can be done. Skimming doesn't take anything away from the story, and it's not intended to be a textbook.

I'd love to be working on a sequel. Maybe soon. I have to ignore responsibilities to get that much time to work on a big project like that.

I debated whether or not to add pictures, and didn't. But here is the plan and profile and a section through the wheelhouse, if I didn't post them before. Can't remember. At this point I'd have to get a new ISBN to add them, I think.

the technical sections were really well-handled - you hit it right where you wanted to - it made it credible but without distracting from the story.

I remember reading this thread when it was new, but came across it again when I was searching "Kindle" (Amazons E-Reader) to see if anybody here owned one.

I will be picking up a Kindle soon, along with this book. Based on the preview at Amazon, I have no doubt it will be a good read.
