Last race was a 9 mile course with checkpoints along the way. The guy that does the most laps in 2hrs wins (in general).

Thought I'd add that some guys were gettin 8-9 laps in IIRC. That would put them at an average speed of 45mph. These guys are haulin.

Its very similar to desert style racing. Heck, this last race, they opened up a section of the motocross track with jumps and all. One rock buggy landed flat, upon rebounding his frontend dropped out from under the rig. Needless to say his day was done. Crazy stuff.

That's what kinda sucks though. Unless you've got a 500 dollar beater, 12k+ dollar RZRs, or 50k buggy, you're not too competitive.

I wish there were some pretty technical trail/rock sections. I'm sure that would narrow the field quite a bit though.

This Ranger was tearing up the track in the 2wd catagory. I never could get a decent photo. He was coming by to quick.

I talked to the owner of this Ranger on the trail Saturday. He has a really nice setup. Built the truck himself. The welds on it was beautiful. He didn't finish the last time out, so his only goal was to finish the race, which he did, which I can't say for all the Rangers that entered.

yeah it was kinda crappy for the red ranger made it half a lap the first race of the year and got stuck in a corner and thats where they left his truck the whole race.
