I was at the local fab shop dropping off axle shafts so they could copy them and make long ones for the project and i noticed a clevis on his desk and it just so happened he had two of them. Some tie rod material from the local circle track supply. I need a better solution to the out tie rod. Trying to figue out a way to adapt the stock tie rod to the to the drag link. It offers better articulation

I know that Camburg, Dixon, and BMF all have kits, but they all want $200 just for the clevis.

Once again it was another awesome race. We finally got the long awaited First Place...whoop whoop. It was an extremly tough and ass whooping race but damn was it fun.*

We came out of the line in third and when we made it to the access rd we just centered up and hammered down to pull first. We popped a tire around around the begining of lap 4 and the pit crew swapped it out quick. Got back on course right behind LWT and had him thinking he was about to go a lap down. Right after the start finish line on lap 6 we physically lost the whole wheel and tire. Had competitors rosco and shawn bring me another spare, jack and lugnuts. That tire went flat before the lap was over and we stopped in the pits again.

After the whole tire fiasco we just took it easy to place high and get points. Well lucky for me but unfortunate for LWT, someones fuel pump flat lined. Neither me or the co dawg said anything about it but we both were thinking we had a chance to win now. Got the white flag and larry was still sitting there. Sorry but many thanks for breaking larry.

On the last lap we ended up either destroying the rack and pinion or the ps pump. The hill right after the creek was whooping our ass and we bumped the rutt at the top to hard and the power steering said FU.

The after party was awesome even though it felt like febuary.*

Many thanks to the Wife Jami, Co Dawg Macgyvr, Rosco, and the whole Rosco Racin Crew...they helped me eminsly with pitting for me and the 20 minutes of prep i had left, wink wink!!! Also big thanks to Branik, Baseline 4x4, Ruffstuff, Bartows, anyone else who helped and my wallet. Kyle and the badlands staff for orginizing a growing event

4-link and coil overs and a way to adjust shock at the track without pulling apart. Very cool!

Im not gonna get everything accomplished that i want but its running again and has a steering wheel...cant get much better in my eyes

Updates? you get it done??? Awesome truck man! Wish we had a race series like that around where I live:bawling:

you have done an awesome job with it!! So how do you like the front suspension?

Ive been wanting to put virtually that exact setup together on my 98 for some dune running.

Anyway you would be maybe willing to pm me the measurement and parts you used? I like the idea of being able to hit a parts store and get replacement parts:icon_thumby:

Done enough to roll it about. 5mile into the first lap.

I dont really have any measurements other than 6" over stock per side..

Ive been spending alot of time dialing in my garage in hopes of making thing projects easier. One of the thing on the list is making legit jigs for the control arms.

Its actually pretty simple stuff but finding the time to do what i want is hard. Im on call 24/7. If you wanted the set up, i could provide it but there would be some work required on your end.

Im gonna be taking it easy for a while but if anyone wants advice or help...just pm me and ill get back with you

Ps...finished 2nd in points series for the year
