Hey sorry for the delay, I sent the pcm out to get tuned and just received it today. I plugged it in and jumped the starter solenoid from the clutch switch. I’m a little confused by the wiring after the clutch pedal, there is a red light blue from the ignition switch to the pedal and then a pink from the pedal to the large connectors going to the engine bay. From there I’m not sure where it goes. There’s a red light blue going from the starter solenoid to the harness leading to the pcm but it doesn’t seem to be connected to the clutch pedal switch. I think it might go down to the transmission.
Anyways I can get the engine to fire up but the idle bounces pretty aggressively, from 500 to 6000 and back down.
There are a couple intake/vacumm hoses I think I may not have connected, but I could not find anything they would connect to. And I don’t have any of the exhaust past the headers.
I also have a question about the transmission shifter stub. I haven’t been able to locate a stub the is the correct length for the transmission. There’s a chart on core shifters website with stub lengths for the different year transmissions. Looks like mine is supposed to be 144mm which is right around 5.6 inch, I cant find any longer than 5inch online. Are they discontinued? Or maybe the trans I have is not functioning properly? I’m unable to shift the transmission out of reverse.
