Tranny Control Switch (TCS) doesnt work??

Any hints on where to start troubleshooting my TCS not turning overdrive off? I use it a lot driving in the mtns, I work at a ski area. Yesterday it just stopped working. No indicator on the dash, and it doesn't downshift either. The 95 has the little button switch on the end of the gear selector handle.

1995 Ford Ranger
Automatic (duh)
4.0 v6
Tons of miles (314K)

Runs like a champ, with very little ive had to do to it, no mods or upgrades.

TCS stands for traction control system btw.
