I am looking to swap gear ratios on my 1994 Ranger 4x4 front dana 35 to 4.56. I am a little confused by part listings. Yukon gear lists the front diff by application As "AMC Model 35 Reverse IFS Front." Richmond gear lists a dana 35 and dana 35 JL diff but not by application. Any help appreciated.

Not that I'm aware of. When I started working on TTBs there were Yukon and Nitro. Nitro sold and stopped making them, and Yukon has cut back on available ratios, they're regularly backordered for months until they make a run, and the price can get fairly high ($3-400 vs. used to be $1-200).

Last time I was on here talking to someone about TTB gears, they popped right up on Amazon, and now they don't.

That's not to say it's not worth shooting whoever a call or an e-mail, in case they have one on the shelf, but my experience has been other "vendors" drop-ship Yukon and don't keep their listings up-to-date.

Yeah, Yukon still does production runs when they get enough orders. Then they punch out a couple hundred sets that promptly disappear. I’m still not sure where all those gear sets end up because half the time I find a lifted Ranger in a junkyard it has 3.45 gears in it.

Moral of the story. If you have those gearsets, take good care of them.
