Traction bars and ladder bars?

Wondering what would be a cost efficient means of getting my truck to launch? Traction bars or ladder bars? Any body have links for compare and contrast for a 1991 Ranger? Thanks, A-

These lift action bars are appealing to me. Description says can only be used with a 3" diameter axle tube. My axle is 2.85. Can I make it work some how? And I have a 4" inch rear leaf spring flip. Will they work with my truck? (91' Ranger XLT)
