Help i'm torn. I just got a 88 Samurai and a 67 F250 4x4 with a divorced Np205 and all the 3/4 ton running gear has a 300 that runs 4 spd w granny low and 36's STOCK, or to build my samurai.... could sell transfer case and get more than ive got into the f250 to buy parts for the zuk or sell the zuk to buy the tires for the 250.... help!

Are you looking for an inexpensive 4x4 to build up and get good gas mileage, or a large truck that you can beat to death? Each has its merits. My choice would be the Samurai, but I don't think you can really go wrong here.

i say go with the samurai that is if u were going to wheel it. small can go anywere if u get stuck any thing can get u out. ps u can put it in the back of a full size pu no trailer need.

well around here all there is is small hills and mud pits. but what I would like to do is pull my small ganoe, go on wheeling trips in other areas up to 200 miles away, and just trail ride...

keep them both ford dd samy wheeler u can always find way to make money rake lawns cut grass and so on

i have a dd....gets 30 mpg dont want nor need both but the 250 i got for 300 and put gas in it cleaned ponits and rumble she went

Any chance your DD would tow the Samurai? It would probably make a better wheeler, but I'd enjoy driving it 200 miles about as much as I like driving my Rebel on interstate trips (I've done it, but it's not exactly fun).

I would love to have a 250 like that to restore............i like the old iron.

my dd is a skylark....bleh so no i dont tow anyways dont like it, i want whichever one i pick to tow my boat or take me as far as 200 miles away on a wheelin trip[ or taking my boat somewhere

This seems like one of them there "flip a coin" moments...remember the rule, nothing less than a quarter.

I'd be all over the Samurai long before I even batted an eye to the F250. I love those things. :D
