Haste is the mother of many injuries
Glad he's "ok" as things go.
I'll bet he's glad that you didn't take the time to take a
pic before extracting him...
Ok since he survived and after he recovers we can suggest he
change his user name to "Bumpstop", "a guy who really knows
how to use his head"
Or is it too soon for me to suggest that?
I've had a couple of "distracted moments" that almost cost me body parts that are handy to have around...
I've almost lost both pinkie fingers on different occasions
I almost lost my right ring finger almost 30years ago
(My whole right arm swelled up from that one)
I had a friend pull an axle shaft that I had standing upright in a wheel (where it was safe) to take a look at it set it back down on the concrete floor THEN knock it over so it broke several toes.
(He hasn't set foot in my garage since, because I have an axle shaft waiting for him
there was the time I learned that you don't wrap your thumbs around the steering wheel when wheeling... because after taking a rock the wrong way something went inside the steering box and the steering wheel spun violently and dislocated both thumbs....
there was a time when I thought an "old guy" saying "if you are over 40 and you wake up and nothing hurts it's because you're dead" was funny and that he was making a joke.
I ain't laughing now.
It wasn't a joke.
