wahlstrom1-we are well aware of jack stand we always use them,they just weren't available at the time and we we're in a hurry to because he had to work.

Sorry, it wasn't meant as an insult or anything....just to warn others, as this is a perfect example of what can happen when things go wrong. Hope he recovers well.

I had a truck fall on my thigh once....had a deeeeep bruise that lasted for weeks. I always use jackstands now!

I've had a couple of "distracted moments" that almost cost me body parts that are handy to have around...

I've almost lost both pinkie fingers on different occasions
I almost lost my right ring finger almost 30years ago
(My whole right arm swelled up from that one)

I almost lost my right pinky to a bench grinder..sucked her in there in highschool metal shop.

I lost all 4 fingers on my left hand, about midway down, got some 'stubs' now.....damn press brakes....

So I feel ya, both pinky's on me as well

Wow I'm glad I have those ugly cheap prerunner fenders, with tiny ass tires. I have plenty of room between the fender and tire. But I'm glad to hear how that every thing but a broken jaw. But hey who couldn't have some weight loss.
