Got the truck running today !!!! It was a ground wire issue , one that I must have missed. Thanks for all the help. I'm sure I will have more questions before its done.

nice. if you confirmed valve events were correct and not popping still, i would have offered to send you a harness to test with and then copy from.
were you having loop issues from the tfi shielding or was it a case ground issue?

It was a gray wire with a red strip, comes out on the harness in 4 spots. My etvm says its a ground for ride control, fuel sending unit, vss, and shock tower.
I still think my harness is jacked up. But its running. Not very well but it does start.

Truck seems to be running better, finally got the moates quarterhorse loaded and starting to do some work with it. Still haven't driven the truck on the road need to finish the exhaust and put the body back together.
