My credo
It's not worth getting out of bed in the morning if you can't make some noise during the day!
Extended cab, 2 w/d, 4.0l V6, 5 spd manual, runs great, 300,000 kms, tilt, cruise, A/C blows cold, new rear brakes in June (drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware kits), new front brakes in July (calipers, pads, rotors), Viper alarm, 2011 Sport 15" alloys in good condition, 2 almost new Goodyear Wranglers, bucket seats, rusty tailgate, bed floor, doors, floors. Located in Bolton, Ontario, Canada
$700 OBO

do those wheels have the step in the backside for a bigger rear cavity to clear 12" front brakes?
being a 2005 I'm thinking probably not.
does it have PATS?

the rust that really counts is on the frame, can we assume it's bad there too?

I don't know about the step in the wheels, they are off of a 2011 Ranger Sport with 4 wheel disc brakes and they have TPMS sensors
It does not have PATS. I had a Viper alarm installed in 2016.
This was an Alberta truck from new, I moved to Ontario in 2017. The frame is not rotten like the body.

@merc414
I don't want your Ranger, but I thought you should know those wheels are possibly special because they can clear 12" rotors.
Ford made 2 versions of those wheels, the first would only clear 11.25 rotors.
starting around '09 they made an almost identical version with an enlarger barrel section to clear 12" rotors.

that allows guys like me to put '04+ later knuckles and larger 12" brakes on the 98-03 4x4s and stay with 15" tires.

EDIT: check the pics in post 26 in this thread for the difference.

Just put new 12" rotors on the front last month, so I guess these are the larger barrel section rims.

OK, now I have more questions for you.
If it's 2wd with 12" rotors it has torsion bar front suspension, right???

if it's coil springs with 12" rotors that's a big surprise to me.

Well, I thought the rotors were 12", now you have me wondering.
It definitely has coil springs, but right now I can't jack it up to remove a wheel and measure.
I've had trouble getting correct parts, since it's an STX, every parts guy says "3 liter only", but mine is 4 liter. Now I generally only get FOMOCO parts using the VIN.

depending on the wheels holes, a "coat hanger caliper" gets you very close from the outside.
