This is what 35,000 worth of lift looks like.

whats the point, to be able to drive over bigger things? my axle hits things more than my frame, and i have no lift. if i had the money i would put this things drivetrain under my rig.

for 35k i would want to see coil over suspention, 4 link, at least 2 1/2Ton axles, or if you are going to run retarded huge tires you could put planitary axles out of a pay loader or somthing to get some torque back out of that poorass drive train. i bet that truck will be one sacked out ride. they must have blown the budget on chrome drive shafts lol. like those will even stay in the truck for long any way.

x2, those are portal axels, like unimogs have:headbang:

$35,000! I feel like flaming too...

garbage from what i see. the leaf springs?! wtf! from the looks of it you might as well have welded 4x4 steel tubes to your axle housing and frame. They are soooo big that i doubt they will flex at all + they are strapped and screwed together makes them very stiff. Might be nice if you plan on hitting a 2ft. high speed bump at 90mph. oh wait the tires will make up or the loss of flex...

sorry i really dont like people who have 35k to drop n a suspension they will never use. I could pay off all my debt and fund the rest of my education with that much money. no wonder this country is fucked to hell in respects to our economy.

bleh... i agree with all the small penis statements. its a waste of money really it is. WTF who chromes their driveshaft? first rock on the interstate they hit is gonna **** that investment up.

whoa i curse a lot sorry.

there is no way in hell that first truck has 35K worth of parts in it, much less the suspension alone.....I built a show winning, similar truck a few years ago:

and that was about a 1/3rd of the cost for pretty much the same set up...

The john deere 4810 is a self propeled sprayer with a hydro transmission and hydro motors at each wheel with planetary outboards. A good idea but heavy and a hydraulic headache not to mention expensive. There is no mechanicl drive on that machine.

Those bags are straight out of a class 8 truck. It's a good idea. I just hope he got a regulator for the compressor that will make up for the lack of weight those are meant to hold up. If not it will ride harder than any leaf set up you could buy. He'll need a PTO compressor to maintain it. And above all.. why be this extensive to a gas set up. To each his/her own. Maybe I'll see it at the jamboree this year! I love when people incorperate "big truck" technology into smaller class trucks. Although I think stacks on pick ups got a little too popular

just like all the turf equipment Ive ever worked on.engine runs a pump or series of pumps.
plus 20 on the headaches!
i think that setup would make a hell of a crawler thou.

There's no way in hell that there's 35K into that suspension "experiment". Those leafs look like something out of a cartoon. I highly doubt their ability to function in the real world.

35K would get you fully built Rockwells, linked coil-over suspension, and rear steer.
