This is what 35,000 worth of lift looks like.

ok ya too big and stuff like that, but is it just me or does it look like the front leaves dont have a shackle

If I owned a shop, and had customers willing to pay out $35K, I'd build them whatever the fawk they want. And It Looks Like he is the same Way!!!

It looks like pretty good skills are going into the truck, but It's stupid as hell for those skills not to be building something more legit.

Plus, If you owned a hardcore shop like that, would you want that to advertise your work to the actual wheelers he tries to hang with like that?

Someone needs a lesson on how suspension works :nono:

If I were to build a huge truck like that my leaf springs would be like 6-8 ft long. Longer leaves flex better even if they have alot of arch, longer leaves would be fine for a truck with that wheelbase. short leaves flex like shit especially if they have huge arch. simple really. :)

The leaf looks like a U. how will it move? he will be able to climb over pot holes pretty well tho.....

totally useless, however i will say i respect the work put into that "thing" but it is a show truck. if it's not a show truck then somebody needs to use that 35k to go back to school and start riding the shortbus again.

I'd like to point out that that $35k did not seem to put any shackles on the front leaf springs. Call me stupid, but I believe those are needed for suspension flex...

EDIT: I stand corrected... they are the tiny little flame do-dads on the front. Couldn't see them....

bahahahaha havent seen that scary steering page for a long time!

and for those leaves to actually cylcle, you would need like an 18" shackle on there.

If I paid 35K to a lift like that I expect to get some crazy engineering inovation out of it. I'd expect to see some coil-over cantalever suspenion on that and NOT leaf springs.

Like the suspension is gonna be doing a lot of flexing with those leafs anyway...
