Thermostat housing options

I have 09 ranger sport that I am looking for an aluminum housing for it looks like this

Having only one plug in it and I keep finding housing with 2 plugs

or bare housing like this

I fought this housing from dorman/duralast one

.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and which one did you go with?

Your plastic housing looks like it has the space for that second sensor. I don't see why you couldn't use the first and just leave that sensor unplugged. If having it sticking out bothers you, it might be a pipe thread. If so you could buy a plug at any hardware store.

Edit: I just realized those are held in with clips. No pipe thread there...
