Had an 1800 original mile turbo coupe motor torn apart laying around with boxes of stuff to go with it. (500 bucks). Decided to buy a 500 dollar 94 ranger and attempt the swap. As if it was hard or something
. The truck is... well ... a 500 dollar truck, interior is surprisingly really decent tho lol. The rest of the truck is beat.. Im keepign every dent in the truck. Have new light assemblies all the way around. Truck will get sanded and panted for a "rat roddy, farmtruck style" (if you will) type look. Then a set of black 03 cobra deepdish wheels with some 315s out back. The motor is basically stock. It has a stinger header, 38mm external wg, 29x9x3 fmi, new IHI turbo. Id be fine with 250-300 with the bigger 60 .53 thats about to go on it on 24-29lbs and arp studs. Converted the motor to DIS/maf set up with an electric fan up front. I have several parts including a ranger cam which is just laying around as well and might possibly even stick a boport head/cam that i can get for a damn good deal right now from a buddy... but... we'll see.. its just a farm truck
Just thought id throw it on here to see what you guys thought.. by no means is it complete as of now. Should be cranked and finishing some tuning stuff next week. And completely done for sure by Mustang Week. I only mess with it on Saturdays, and have probably around 45-50 hours in it as of now. Got some pics for you guys. Btw im sure i have several typos in through out this thread but on acount of me be tired and lazy i will no revise it
