My truck has a strong gas smell while driving and especially after I park it. Will adjusting the fuel/air set screws on the front of the carburetor help? If so which way should I turn them? In or out to control the strong gas smell?

No, adjusting fuel/air mix won't help, you have a leak, check fuel lines, and for overflow on carb, the float in the carb may not be working causing carb to overfill and leak fuel.

It’s not coming from the tail pipe. It’s coming from the carb. When you remove the air filter you can really smell the gas! When I walk out into my garage it can be overwhelming at times!

I think you may be right. How can I fix that issue?
