Seems the average American is waking up to their bullshit, at long last - you know them, they're the 88% of the workforce that can manage on their own to keep their jobs by working hard.
Well said Dave, this is basically what's going on in a nutshell. Unions milk and milk employers dry until there's nothing left. For some reason union workers feel they are entitled to every ounce of profit a company makes, and then some. Back in the day, unions helped establish a better work environment, but it's now become a crutch for the lazy. If a worker with poor work ethic feels slighted, all he's got to do is go to the union. If you ever want an example of what unions do to people, towns, and companies, look no further than Detroit.
This is a quote from http://www.socialstudieshelp.com/ -
"Unions are victims of their own success. Unions raised their wages substantially above the wages paid to nonunion workers. Therefore, many union-made products have become so expensive that sales were lost to less expensive foreign competitors and nonunion producers"
---- Most non union workers realize that if our employers paid us more than we are worth, eventually we won't have a place to work.
