States stripping unions bargaining rights

Seems the average American is waking up to their bullshit, at long last - you know them, they're the 88% of the workforce that can manage on their own to keep their jobs by working hard.

Well said Dave, this is basically what's going on in a nutshell. Unions milk and milk employers dry until there's nothing left. For some reason union workers feel they are entitled to every ounce of profit a company makes, and then some. Back in the day, unions helped establish a better work environment, but it's now become a crutch for the lazy. If a worker with poor work ethic feels slighted, all he's got to do is go to the union. If you ever want an example of what unions do to people, towns, and companies, look no further than Detroit.

This is a quote from http://www.socialstudieshelp.com/ -

"Unions are victims of their own success. Unions raised their wages substantially above the wages paid to nonunion workers. Therefore, many union-made products have become so expensive that sales were lost to less expensive foreign competitors and nonunion producers"

---- Most non union workers realize that if our employers paid us more than we are worth, eventually we won't have a place to work.

Peaceful protests are what this country is all about and the tea party cleans up after themselves. Whenever the liberal/progressives protest they leave a pile of crap for someone else to pick up and fix damaged property what gives.

Without doing what he did in Wisconsin there would have been massive layoffs.

The layoffs were typical right wing fear tactics. The unions were willing to make the extra retirement payments and other concessions the gov wanted. He wouldn't have it though without breaking the unions.

We in the private sector do not have that privelage. The tea party is being heard and it scares the hell out of progressives on both sides. We are a nation of the popular vote and just because you don't agree with the tea party movement you cannot deny our numbers. Most TPers are the middle class and are non violent unless you consider voting your consience a act of violence.

The tea party will be mostly dead before the 2012 elections. The only thing they agree on is they hate Obama for one reason or another. Some are afraid because whites don't run the country anymore, others don't think the poor deserve health care. Either way, it's moderate members are seeing the politicians they elected kill the middle class and they'll come running back to the dems.

Not one republican walked away from the health care vote or any other vote for that matter why then do the progressive/dems think they can hold democracy hostage. I compare it to not playing ball because you know your not gonna win. Its called being poor loosers if your not there to vote then you cannot cry about what was passed. It is chicken s&%t politics at its worst and they should be ashamed for acting like spoiled children not getting their way.

The democrats did what they had to do while the people rallied at the capitol. If they hadn't the republicans would have jammed this bill down our throats before anyone could say anything. Democracy at it's finest was on display at the Wisconsin capitol, real people standing up for themselves. The tea party however doesn't really stand for anything other than racism and giving millionaires everything they want.
