Hello, everyone.
I have a 1988 with a RPM-gauge needle broken. I want to take it out and put a new one; but I’m not sure if I just have to pull the needle and it will get off or if there is any other stuff I should do. Thanks a lot

Welcome to TRS :)

The needle just pulls off, put a fork under it and lift it off
But.................getting new needle calibrated is not always easy

You would think just putting new needle on pointed at 0 would be it............
And it can be, lol, but not always
So be prepared to hook the cluster back up, plastic cover off, you can leave speedometer cable off
And start the engine
See how Tach is reading
You can pull the needle back off with engine running and put it back on closer to correct RPMs if its off

Speedometer needles are worse, have to drive at a KNOWN speed to put the needle on

Always change the back light bulbs when a cluster is out, always :)

My 86 did the same thing. I just cut a wire tie off the right length and super glued it on the center piece. Still on there to this day.
