spark plug change 1998 4 cl (is it hard)

What is the easiest was of changing the spark plugs due to location? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use a variety of extensions (I like the wobble extensions a lot) and a swivel adapter.
I wouldn't hesitate to mix 3/8" drive and 1/4" drive adapters/extensions either.

Personally, on the v6's I take the front tires off and go in through the wheelwell, the gap guard comes right off.

I like working sitting down better than leaning over a fender.

4 banger, I'd do from the top though. I have no idea which you are working on.

Take the upper intake off. slick as snot and a whole lot easier than messing with extensions

Everyone has their own way, as far as im concerned a 6 in extension a u joint and a 3 in extension is not too much to mess with. i can change all 8 of mine without disassembling anything in about 40 mins, and that's including having a beer break. haha. it's handty to have a peice of hose that fits snug around the top of a spark plug to get the new plugs started too.

X2. Extensions arent that bad.

Luckily I have 2 sockets specifically for plugs in my ratchet/socket set

so can i and within the same time frame I can also replace the PCV and the coolant hoses that run from the intake manifold to the engine and heater core hose which you can't

I have done the 2.5 3 times now.......the last time i swapped the plugs and wires and i did it in an hour and I did not remove the intake.........make sure you use autolite or motorcraft plugs and that if you get new wires get the ones that have the hooks on them.........I used autolite wires for about $26

that is the only good reason I have heard for taking the intake off when you do the plugs........so you can change that coolant line to the TB.......otherwise it is not necessary IMHO

I can reach behind the intake manifold and change the PCV in 5 seconds. And I wasn't trying to say your way was wrong. whatever suits the person working on it best is the right way for that person.
