Chevy bodystyle fit better than Ford's, it helped that at the time they looked like a bloated '81 Silverado.

I saw a new chevy today... Orange with white retro paint job. It looked good.

The Ford in the pictures in the link: I like it. I don't think it makes it look like a 70's truck. I think it just looks like 2 tone paint.

Looked over one of these (dealer near where I work had one out front).

I usually don't like the throwback stuff, but it looked really good. A little like a Tonka truck, but all the modern stuff looks like that to me.
