Rear Frame Bent/Twisted?

well i had explorer springs on it prior to the chevy's and the lean was still in that side.

Simple test would be to swap the springs from side to side to see if the lean follows the spring that would eliminate out a weak spring pack.

This.

(you have to rule it out before you start assuming things)

okay well i removed both rear leafs and the lean is definetly in the frame rails. How can i fix this? i was thinking jack it up till its level and welding some 4" channel in there...i also removed the previous owners attempt of a cross member. Junkie- Is there any hope on straightening it? See pic. The pic has NO leafs or shocks installed

Take it to a frame straightening shop bro! Simple as that. Dont halfass it. With the bed off it, they could have it done w/in a day or so.

well its an offroad truck. I mean they r gonna look at it and be like WTF? haha..and i dont wanna spend hundreds on it. They are basically gonna do the same thing i'm gonna attempt.i believe lol

Some spots of the frame look as straight as microwave bacon.

You sure all the cab mounts are good?

Yeah but... it has two jackstands under it that will twist it too if they aren't set to the exact same height (or conversely, they can hide the issue if they are set the same).

You need to either support it with a single jackstand dead-center of the rear crossmember, or like was said, put the springs back on swapped over and see if the lean is the other way afterward.

Upon a determination that it IS bent, then yes, take it to a frame shop (they should know what to do with it... it being lifted doesn't change any aspect about straightening out a frame).
Alternatively you could whack the frame off just behind the cab mounts and build your own frame for it, then build your tube flatbed or whatever you're building on that.

Also are your cab mounts good? (hard to tell, but I think I see the cab sagging down more against the frame on the right side than on the left).

Edit, too slow on that last one lol

actually my buddy owns a frame shop and in a couple weeks i'm gonna take it down there and put it on their frame machine and fix it.

yes all the cab mounts are good. Its just the pic making it look that way. From the side the left rail def sits lower than the right. 100% sure the frame rail is bent down on the left. He said it wont take too long to straighten with the machine. Thanks guys

Mine too

My '93 2wd longbed has that exact same lean. It sets at stock height and has had all four springs replaced. I wonder if mine gained the twist when the original left rear, rear spring hanger broke at the frame. Any thoughts?

UPDATE: I bought a set of screw in boosters (temporary) for the front left coil. It brought the rear-right corner right back down where it should be. Should be ok for a while, atleast until I can get the battery moved to the opposite side and the new lowering coils and 4" rear flip installed.

Looks like a sagged front pass coil to me. My truck has a gangster lean too. Super lift 64" leaves sagged in less than a year.

Ok. Put shiny new coil springs on the front with rebuilt leafs on the rear. I had the bed off while repairing some rust damage. When reinstalling the bed, the right front corner had to be pulled down over an inch to get it to the frame. I know someone is going to say, "its not a big deal for the bed to be twisted", but after getting it all tightened up its still twisted. You can look across the top and see it. That to me points toward a twisted frame. My truck looks exactly like the pics in this thread.
