Rangerrod 2.0

what lights did you use in your tube bed?

4" round led got hem from superbrightled.com but don't see them on there anymore. I looked on eBay too can't find them. Sorry not more help.

Thanks, Ill have to hunt around for some like them. Did they wire up like the stock ones? I already have the electric flasher installed. Also when you did your fuel cell what pump did you use?

I used summit # sum-290108 fuel cell. Summit # pfs-70150 fuel pump. I retired the whole truck headlight to tail light. So it's wired up with that. No electronic flasher seems to work fine. I wouldn't run external pump again. I'd run an internal pump out of a mustang in the cell. I will change it at some point. I mounted my jeep pump in the tank when I did the 4.0 swap in the tank it's quiet and more reliable. Any one who says its a pain to change on the trail I say that mounted in the tank highly unlikely you'll have to change it. Here's some threads that shows what I'll do from pirate. I'd use Walbro pickups again as my jeep when below 1/4 tank fuel slosh it will cut out.

My dad also had a 96 f150 short bed 15 gallon stock tank. They use that same tank in toyotas under the rear where the spare tire would go. I've always wondered if that would work too. Just an idea. I personally don't like putting a cell where I could haul gear and tools and beer.

Yeah I want to go to a cell mostly to have more room under the vehicle to move the rear axle forward and not get hung in the skid offroad. Also I have a 16 gallon tank and would like something in the range of 22. You are the first so far that has pointed me away from the external inline pump, I will definitely have to read more on that. I do like those Walboro pickups. I found a 22 gallon jaz cell that would fit nicely between the frame rails behind the axle when I go tube bed. Thanks a lot for the handy tech links, that's exactly the info I needed!

Finished front bumper sticks out a little farther than I wanted but I can put an upright winch in it down the road if I want.

That is one of the nicest looking bumpers I've seen. I really need to get a tube bender.

Thanks. I'm not happy about how far it sticks out. I may change it
when I get my final radiator position.
