That's what the original ranger rotor turned into turned so the Vic rotor will slide onto it.
½" plate, to adapt the Vic caliper bracket drilled top hole to accept factory Vic caliper bracket bolt. The lower retaining bolt is the factory ranger bolt, and the lower vic retainer is in the 1/2 plate. Very straight forward simple set up, works very well. The hubs had to be turned in a lathe to be flat faced.
I ended up using a 97-03 f150 master cylinder. The rear uses newer mustang set up larger vented rotor vs smaller explorer stuff.
Adding vacuum pump due to larger cam not giving over 12in/hg vacuum. Even with that still stops great even while pulling a 2500lb tractor on a 2000lb trailer. Or pulling down at speed.
16" rims are a minimum.

What's the machine work usually cost of is anyone on here making those?

Just regular 1/2" mild steel plate? Nothing heat treated?

Does the Exploder or Mustang rear disc stuff bolt on to the older drum brake axles or does the housing/whole axle need to be replaced?
 
Close to stock tire size, probably more sidewall height for a bit taller gearing. I don't want to be stuck buying hard to find expensive tires. I don't know what my truck has stock, I assume 15"?

If I junk my 1994 E-150, I might run those stock 5 lug alloy rims as they're 15" and AFAIK 15" tires are still easy to find.

E-150 and F-150 of the era used a 5x5.5" lug pattern, so those won;t fit your truck without adapters or the conversions that Bobby mentioned int he previous post.

If one of your intrest is keeping a good supply of inexpensive rubber available, I'd recommend a set of 16" aluminum Ranger wheels. Explorers at least through 2001 would fit too. Possibly later Explorers, but at some point they went to factory 17 and 18 inch wheels, and the back spacing changed.

All of the 15" Ranger and Explorer wheels fit and look great on the square body Rangers, but tire selection for them is slowly shrinking just like the smaller wheels. Honestly 16s are starting to head that direction as well, but not as far along.
 
I am a industrial maintenance millwright so if the machinist has time he will take care of things like this for me. One of the perks of the field I'm in. But anyplace that does machine work with cnc, Bridgeport, lathe will be able to handle this.

Just standard 1/2" plate nothing fancy.

It should years ago I swapped my dad's ranger dto disk on the rear elongated bracket holes slightly but nothing crazy.

This set up has been together for 3 years, bunch of miles. Almost forgot about doing it. Also running stage 8 44 spindle nut my own retaining tab, and cut the ears off the snap ring.
