Rangerrod 2.0

from the pics it really seems like the mtr's are the prefered tire in your neck of the woods

Yeah everyone seems to run them. I do sand snow and rocks they seem to hold up pretty well they wear good balance easy. Down side is side walls are a little thin. Not a mud guy but my old mtrs on my cj I think just as well as my super swamped ssr's in mud.

Finished sliders not sure I like them I think they're a little tall. Oh well I can always chop them off.

Finally got around to a couple of little things so I can drive it around. Mud flaps and seat belts. Doesn't make it legal hopefully buys me a little time.

Keep Those Sliders!! They look decent and they will make you very happy the first time you are in a gully or washout with a stump or rock sticking out of the side about cab level! I did sjust that and put a big dent in the ext cab panel, pissed me right off at the time

I like those sliders too!! Wish i had a bender so i could build some sliders just like that.
Truck looks Sweet!!

Been driving it around a little since its legal now. The gremlins are starting to appear when full throttle the fuel pump can't keep up fuel pressure will drop down to 20lbs (good thing about having fuel pressure guage in the dash). I think the pump is pulling fuel out of the tank isn't quite a gravity feed after half tank. I'll remedy this by eventually moving the pump into the tank.

Next when shifting from second to third it revs then shifts which when WOT makes it shift really hard. So looking for insight on what it might be. Manual reverse valve body 6 pinion planetary stock clutch stock stall on the converter.

Finished front bumper sticks out a little farther than I wanted but I can put an upright winch in it down the road if I want.

That bumper is awesome! I might snag some ideas off that when I build mine! When are you going to hit the trails? Also do you have and pictures of a side shot of the front fenders? Id like to see where you cut and where your axle sits. What coils are you using?

I cut basically the whole "flare" off and little more front and rear. I'm running 5.5" early bronco cage springs. I'd like to swap in 3.5" or 4.5" but I like my up travel. These springs have already settled probably 1". Front axles probably 3"-4" forward I used eb buckets. Using an fj60 steering box that mounts on the outside of the frame.

thanks that was exactly the picture I was looking for

Went to the little rubicon by my house. Power steering pump is done! So just street driving till that's resolved. Tranny got warm not sure what that's about so I might need a bigger fan since motors over heating a little too.
