Only thing I would reconsider the lower portion of your radius arm. I would put it on more of an angle so the is not such a big hook on the back to hang up on, and give you better ground clearance. Other wise, the beef looks good....

Youd be surprised. According to my scales, Ill still be 100-150 pounds LIGHTER than a stock Dana 60.

Haha thanks. In that pic the tube isnt notched yet, it has since been notched but I didnt take another pic. It sits up about another 3/4-1" higher than in that picture. Should be nice and tight up there.

The rad arms are simply those two tubes, and will have 2 verticals connecting them. Heim at the frame end, with a poly bushing and forged bushing at the axle. This allows me to better adjust my caster.

I'd like to redo my arms on D. The caster is off sooooo bad and the joints at the frame bind really bad. I think if I redid the arms, the truck would work 10000 times better

Dana 50 TTB pig, shafts, etc. Should be plenty strong for 37's. If for some reason I ever have any trouble Ill swap it all out for 60 stuff.

Got my wheels, these things are sweet. Thinking I may need to get a set for my Super Duty so both trucks match

37x12.50R17 BFG KM2's on 17x8.5 4.5 BS aluminum rims.

Got some stuff done. Had to adjust rear hanger placement; rear is now sitting on its own wheels (with weight added to mimic wet weight)

Was able to cycle the beam with wheel attached, finalize wheel placement, and check for clearances.

Finalized lower portion of the radius arms. Set caster at 10* (with beam positioned at ride height, and -3* of camber), and notched and tacked in the cross brace.

And started to weld it up...

I only welded portions of it, and two small opposing sections on the threaded inserts; dont want to put too much heat to it and warp them.

Needs some opinions...should I cut a plate to fill in the 'hole' of the rad arm, or just run another cross brace?

Looking at it again, the gaps too small to put decent size holes in for dimpling.... Add another tube!
