I have a 1994 2.3. Battery light stays on at idle and low rpms. When testing voltage with a DMM I am getting 14.6V when running. I did find and repaired a bad spot in the main battery wire but that did not solve the issue. What else or what wires do I need to check?

IIRC that light has one side of the bulb connected to the alternator and the other on battery so it comes on with key on but goes out once the alternator starts charging. Several splices along the way.
Is that 14.6 at idle/low rpm or a little higher?
Can you take a few pictures around the alternator and battery. Especially the connections in that area. Maybe someone will see something you missed?
