if it cant hang it cant stay
Ok i swapped a 3.0 into my 99 ranger xlt2.5. Will the stock 3.0 lowerhose fit right in are does it need to be adjusted cut im havin trouble gettin it in place bout 4 inches off

I just looked on line at the a 3.0l rad and a 2.5l rad, they look to have the upper and lower hoses reversed.

On radiator:
2.5l lower hose on passenger side(upper hose drivers side)

3.0l lower hose on drivers side(upper hose passenger side)

So I would get a 3.0l Radiator, and longer overflow hose, Rad Cap location is reversed too

Radiator mounts should be standard

If you have an automatic trans then that adds another issue, trans cooler is reversed as well, in that case you may need to keep the 2.5l rad and get custom hoses.
If you get a coat hanger and bend it in the shape needed and cut it to length needed you can usually find one with the needed bends and cut it to correct length.
Take old hoses to get correct diameter, for BOTH ends.
