I run an original "Passport" Radar detector, it's an oldie but a goodie.
Ka? where???
Laser? Why so it can tell me to have my license, registration and proof of insurance ready?
Here in PA only the state troopers have radar and for the most part there are six traffic warning signs that have radar transitters in them that are acting purely as "Decoys" to make people with radar detectors slow down for every actual cop car
And at any given time only 1/4 of the cop cars are anywhere but parked at the cop shop.
Yeah, instant on can get me, BUT I've driven past speed traps and not even been "lit up", why? because cops seem to have a hard-on for people who are cruising in the left lane.
so anywhere I don't have a good sight line I avoid the left...
I'm also not a teenager and not driving a sports car.
My truck does not look in any way shape or form like a "toy"
it looks like what it is, a working truck.
Working trucks are all but invisible to law enforcement unless you
are dragging a flock of nuns from the back bumper
The last person who suggested that my diamond plate trim
was a fashion statement spent the evening shoveling coal
out of my truck...
Ever see a ton of fist sized rocks dropped into a truck bed from 15feet up?
They'll do a number on your bedrail paint.
