I was driving, and some little car going the other direction kicked up a rock in it's tire and it flew into my windshield. It's slowly spreading. =( And I wish it was just a pinhole in my gas tank, but the stuff pours out when I get above a certain point, which happens to be the spot where the pump shuts off. I lose maybe a cup or two of gas every time I fill my tank. But then of course there's the loss from evaporation as well.Subaru's are good vehicles. I live 10 minutes away from the plant that they make them at.
My dad got a tank from the junk yard and it had a pinhole hole on the fuel tube for the return line ( for when he was putting a TBI on his truck, but never wroked right due to to much fuel pressure) and and anyways solidered up the hole and worked great.
The windshield part might cost more money to fix. What were you doing when it cracked. One cause is from the cab flexing to much (happened to a fullsize Dodge we had and it happened while going down the street).
They actually have this windshield sealer stuff that is supposed to keep the crack from spreading, I thought about using it on there. It's not by the JB weld people though. And I actually plan on JB welding the tank, I just can't get my bed liner off to get at the bolts to take the bed off, and I can't find the leak from under the truck.you can jb weld both problems![]()
