The miles to work is the 15 on 4-6 days. So it's really not that bad, besides I wouldn't get a raise anyway.. I'm a cashier at Kmart. The rest is my commute to college (60) and the 70 is the trips to see my girlfriend/random other trips.

As some of you know my horns been busted for a while. I figured out how to ghetto rig it so that it will beep for my inspection next week. Now I just need a pair of front tires and I'll be all set.

Oh, and I scored a pair of Hella fog lights. For free. Be jealous. They're the E1-8336 model I believe. If that's a model. I dunno, it's the only number on the light that points towards Hella besides the symbol.

I was hoping to buy a car by now, but I didn't find one I trusted as much as my Ranger. They make for hard vehicles to live up to.

Found a guy with a LS 4.10 8.8 out of a newer Ranger. I'm going to see if I can talk him down a tad on his price if not I'll walk.

I really need to find a new rear end for this truck. My power and gas mileage is horrible.

Also thinking about adding one of these to the list of things to buy once I get my car paid off. It's only $50, I expected much higher than that.

You all know what that's for? 2001 Ranger Edge. I don't drive one of those.

If I do, I'll also start collecting fenders, hood, grill, etc. I may go with stock headlights from a junker, or since those are rare around here go with some aftermarket heads.

I definitely need to replace my core support in my Ranger though, if you look a few pages back there's a picture showing some bad body mounts. It also shows some hellish rust on the support and it has me scared. While I'm doing that I might as well splice in the conversion piece. It's all gotta be dismantled anyway.

I'm thinking about an upgrade. I want to go with a 4" suspension lift but not a lot of places have good selections for 2wd Rangers, and whenever a guy on here sells one or there's one up for sale locally I don't have the money for it.

I'm not spending much money on the rear end suspension. I'm just going to weld up some new hangars and blocks or buy a longer shackle or something. I haven't really figured that one out yet.

I already have the blocks, I got them for free from a member on here along with an 8.8 rear end for an older ranger. But that would defeat the purpose of my leveling coils.

Besides, I don't like blocks.

No, I have a pair of Skyjacker leveling coils in the front.

Started up the truck again today to keep it lubricated. While it was running I noticed some more rust on my wheel wells. No holes, just paint peeling Doesn't matter, a new bed (or bedsides) is in the plans anyways.

I also noticed that I'm off from 1/8th of a tank to being just above E. That reminded me that I need to fix my gas tank or filler neck.

Bad news guys. The ranger's future is now uncertain. Turns out I'm getting less financial aid than I previously thought due to an error in how SUNY displayed the amounts on my financial aid status. I am getting 2500 less than what was previously displayed, because they forgot to take off the tuition and fees from the final amount. I could still fix the car, but without that money I will be unable to pay off my Escort and take it off the road. It also means that three paychecks a month are already spoken for to cover the monthly payments and my 200 dollar monthly insurance payment.
