Project 4x4 Commuter Mazda

Just stay at 35's. You be amazed at how much better the solid axle will perform offroad. I am happy with what I have BTW.

I really like the stance of your truck so I think 35's will be a perfect choice with 4.88's and commuting.

Later if I wanna go up to 37's and can also do a doubler/Atlas/1-ton axles :icon_thumby:

Mounted the D2's:

With the LED bar moved down low:

No wiring done yet....but I got the following to do a legit install:

looking good, but why so many lights?

i ask the same thing... that's A LOT of light w/ the LED bar and the D2's.. plus the headlights. that's crazy. maybe he's opening a tanning saloon?

Deer. and bling factor.

Probably the last lights I'll buy with the exception of backup lights...(Rigid duallys: more than bright enough).

The bar throws a flood, for wide light scatter into the side of the roads. The D2's are for more spot and far distances.

So I'm gonna do 4.88's/ARB on the D44. With 35's. Should put my new freeway RPMs at 70mph the same as they are now at 63mph. I can live with that...I'm tired of people passing me as it is. At 70mph right now my little truck is doing almost 3000 RPMs!

I've taken up a new hobby, so I'll be building an AR-15 simultaneously as my D44 rebuild.

List of items in order to be expended:

EB passenger shaft
AR15 lower parts kit, buffer tube, Magpul stock, ect all pieces to complete the lower
Driveline/Windshield
D44 balljoints/ARB/4.88's/Master install kit/Labor to install it all

And I really need to diagnose and fix a problem the truck has had since it rolled off the factory floor....

I have a narrowed Dana 44 shaft (EB length) I'd sell you. I paid to have it narrowed but don't need it anymore. I figure if I ever break a shaft I'll go to chrome moly. Its just a stock shaft that excepts 760x u-joints. If you don't want it no worries.

Anyway, truck looks good. Where's a night time pic? I want to see the road lit up!:)

Wiring isn't done yet, work is eating up all my daylight hours.

How much do you want for the shaft? Can you post a picture here? I'm interested, if you can wait two weeks (wednesday march 7) that is.

$40 + shipping? I paid $55 for the cut and spline. Trying to get something back out of it. Stock shaft is 33 29/32" and this shaft was shortened 6" (EB length is 27 15/16")and the picture shows the length now. Not 100% sure if the tape measure is centered directly in the center of the yoke area but pretty close. And yes I can wait whenever I am in no hurry.
