Speaking of weird, off-brand trucks. Remember that the Oldsmobile Bravada had several generations. The 1st looks the best, IMO. The got progressively worse, as time went on.

My aunt had the middle generation. It was a POS.

T-case chain broke two hours from home the night I graduated college and stranded them. Pulled into a parking spot for supper and then the chain bound up and wouldn't let them back out, they are lucky it didn't happen on the interstate. AWD never worked right before or after, my cousin will go into great theatrics about how she had to jump up and down in the back end while my aunt was flogging it to get out of the driveway in the winter when it snowed.
