Pontiac pickup

If Pontiac made a truck, it would have looked a lot cooler than that.

I don't get the truck cap on a Pontiac truck. That's like putting white wall tires on a Trans Am.
White letter tires though… it’s a fine line. 😀

most S10’s belong at a junkyard.
As much as I hate to say it, the 80s - 90s vintage USPS LLVs I work on for the post office have held up pretty darn well considering how much the carriers abuse them. Most of the work I do on them is due to abuse and neglect. Some of it is because they are 40 years old, but most of it is abuse and neglect. Carriers don't report things because they don't want to be held accountable for them or "lose" the vehicle they know for one they don't know the quirks and personality they have. They are build on the S-10 frame and powertrain. The 2.5 liter engine ain't no powerhouse but I have to respect them.

2.5L in one of those? That might help explain why they go postal...

Yep. Apparently the 2.2 before that in at least some of them. From what I gather, all the ones with the 2.2 got converted over to the 2.5 at some point.

All of them are on at least their second frame, due to road salt, as well.

I thought the 2.5 was the older engine? Are you talking about something other than the Iron Duke?
