Locker and 4.10s are finally going in the rear this weekend and the new cover will finally get bolted on (YAY I will have 4x4 again). I should be getting my new rubbers too. I ordered a set of 35" Mud Rovers a while back, but I have had nothing but trouble getting them. Plan on wheeling it Monday. I am 2 minutes from some nice trails at school, but 2wd isnt going to cut it.
It looks like I am finally going SAS with an EB Dana 44. I found one dirt cheap with 4.09's in it. Im getting the complete axle with steering linkage, track bar, RA's, and some pizza cutter mud terrains. I am going to have to convert it to disk and go through the ball joints, bearings, and seals, but I am already excited. I am going to run the stock EB RA's. I measured roughly and they appear to be about an inch shorter than my current arms. So I will make new mounts than move the mounting point about 1.5- 2" forward and an inch down. This will help with my caster and stretch my WB a squeak get the tires away from the fenders up front.
When I go through the D44 and clean it up it will almost bolt in with 4.5" EB lift coils and new RA mounts. I will figure out the steering situation and track bar mount after I have weight sitting on the axle.
I will be parting out my current D35 setup as soon as it is off. Unless somebody wants the whole setup for a good price.
-6" SJ coils $100

-D35 pig with 4.10s $200
-D35 Beams/complete knuckles w/ newer Moog ball joints, Bearings, Wagner Pads and rotors $150

Ill also be parting with my five 15x10 soft 8's with the 5 on 4.5 lug pattern for $100
Nothing is for sale yet since the truck is my DD and I cant sell it until I get the D44 under my truck.
