One trip....soo like 15-20 hours in 4x4.lol New record. Normally I get 10 hours or so tops.

Wow I would have expected better from those beefy joints

Over the weekend, on "All Girls Garage" they showed those and said that they are the strongest joints on the trails, but not to use them on the road.

you should go on to the "all girls garage" website and post a picture of those.

Honestly...I am not sure what let loose first. I was blaming the ears on the shafts...but it looks more like the inner retainers on the joints let loose first allowing the caps to walk out and catch the ball joint nut.

Either way it sucks!

Yes but your a terrible example. You seem to break shit way too easily. Or you beat the hell outta it and then it pops when your just starting the next trip

You need more videos because i just dont understand how you manage it. I wheel with one guy on 39.5" iroks under a 2000 explorer with the 302. On an built eb axle and super 8.8 (recently went to tons cause he was bored lol) and he beat it never had issues like you. Broke one stub shaft once.

Another guy has a first gen ranger again with a 302 but a 44 fullsize sas but small u joints and 36"s treats it the same way never broke that i know of..

Granted neither have doublers but both have more weight and v8s.

I'm at 7K lbs ...lots of gearing... Spooled, and play in sandstone rocks...
