please help ranger 3.0 injector prob

Hello,

I am drawing at straws now with a problem i am having with one of my rangers, it is a 98, 3.0 5 speed

Problem is misfire on cyl 5, cylinder has compression, spark, but no fuel. injector does not fire, no check engine light on, and no codes set

I first replaced the injector, which did nothing

then tried a noid light, and sure enough no light

checked all wiring, i get the 12 volts through the injector all the way back to the PCM

What i do not get is the ground trigger the pcm is supposed to put out to fire the injector.

I have tried 3 different computers, i cant believe i have 3 computers with bad injector 5 drivers..

I replaced both the cam and crank sensors

plugs, wires and coil are all new

Pulling my hair out, does anyone have any ideas why this could happen? if so please help

check and clean ground for computer, battery, engine, and body to start with
