ive been looking at buying new wheels for my ranger...for now its goin to be a pavement pounder (only got 7000 miles on it) so im lookin for some chrome wheels..i cant seem to find many 15x9-10" wheels..do you know of any????

But why do ned such a wide rim? 8" is good for most tires...

im plannin on runnin 33x12.5...just wanted to get a wide setup

Either way works, but 8" rims tend to have better selection. If you got some with 4" backspacing (I believe stock is 4 1/2) that also pushes them out about 1/2" on each side as well. Seems lots of people run a 12.5 on an 8".

That's just my $0.02 though.

The only 9" wheels Ive seen are Made by Weld. Thats about $250 each. On the other end of the scale I have some used 15x10 w/3.5in offset that would be cheep. (Im going through GA next month). I agree that 1250 tires look better on 10" but I have run them on 8" just fine when there was limited room (and yes I got that truck with 33/1250/15 on 7" rims but changed them).

The best place I know to shop for wheels and stuff is http://summitracing.com . You can select from every aspect of wheel definition to find whats available from them (which is considerable). Once found tho, you may find it cheeper (maybe not once you add shipping) somewhere else. I was suprised to find common mfg's such as USWheel and Cragar that offer cheep wheels in different offsets, and for just a little more will build them to your specs.

One other thing if you see Aero wheels (and some other racing wheels made by Bart, Bassett, Diamond, etc.) - theyre made with a wide range of offsets but are not DOT approved for highway use (whatever that means) and you need to address the 5/8in, 45 degree stud holes (see Howe Racing #2081 lugnuts).
