Hey yo! Got a Mazda b4000 4x4 automatic with a problem. It shifts hard especially 1st to 2nd. The code scanner says "P1900 output shaft speed (OSS) sensor intermittent fault." I looked near the back of the transmission on the driver side near the transfer case and the sensor is not there, nor the hole for the sensor to go into. There is a plug from the wiring harness that is where it's supposed to be. I read some stuff that says they don't have that sensor anymore after a year which I can't find again and the new sensor that does the same job is now the sensor on the back differential. So I changed that sensor on the back differential out and it did nothing. So now I don't know what to do. Don't know if this transmission is the original in the truck either if they put the wrong transmission in here. I wanna know how to fix it and if this transmission for this year should have that sensor in the transmission or not.
