Hello!
This is going to seem dumb but that #3 spark plug near the computer and air conditioning on the passenger side near the firewall, how do you get that spark plug out??
The point is that cooling system in the way!

(yes I know about socket wrenches especially the 5/8in needed for spark plugs )

Thx in advance,
JC Magras

Go through the wheel well and use a wrench on you socket.

The point of this is on 3L v6, the fridge plant is very close to spark plug #3

On a 3L 2004 the wheel wells are quite distant since we are close to the firewall and the computer.
Do I have to climb on top the engine?
The spark plugs all point up so crawling under is pointless.

Thx in advance,
JC Magras

No. I've changed mine a couple times. You'll need to insert the socket first then the wrench. I use a 3/8" spark plug wrench which is longer than regular 3/8" drive wrench. It also is hinged where the handle attaches to the ratchet for better angle. Loosen the plug then use either your fingers or better, a piece of hose to twist the plug out.

I use copper anti-seize on the threads for re-install.
