Hey guys. I'm wanting an oil that will stick up in the top end a little better, because my motor which only has 50k miles on it ticks just a bit when it's cold in the winter for just a second or to, I was wondering what you guys suggest. I have seen the castrol stuff and the royal purple, was wondering what works best for staying in the top end of the motor. Thanks!

The biggest difference in engine noise I ever noticed was when I changed to Amsoil. Also made a big difference in cranking speed in single-digit temps.

I would go to a thinner oil. If it calls for 10w30 then use 5w30 or 0w30. Thinner oil will get to the top quicker.

Just add some Elmer's glue next time you change it. That stuff makes things stick.
