Noticed that my truck needs the flexible ribbed looking tube that speaker wires and door electrical pass though on the driver side from the door jamb into the door between the door hinges. What is this part called and where might I find one? I'm certain it is the same part used in many other Fords of the era.

That is the door to body wire loom boot. I couldn't find a Ford-specific part new, but eBay has a lot of different generic rubber door looms. You'll need to measure the opening of the harness hole on both the door and body, as well as the thickness of the harness and the length of the bridge between the door hole and body hole. Only downside is having to de-harness your door to install it.

If you're interested, though, I can instruct you on how to make a nice one without using the ribbed rubber style. I hear they're for her pleasure, but I'm not 100% sure.
