Not Another CTOR Build

yeah leaf sprung TTB = horrible ride and no flex

It's a D60 Cab/Chassy which is much worse.I'm driving it to the death and putting the axle in the 75 Bronco RB

spent some more time playing....

heres the axle and susp under load

heres the tire bolted on, looks like i got some trimming to do. I intentionally pushed the axle forward for a more aggresive approach angle

Rear Mount secured to the frame, i'll probably add some side strength to it and go up the frame rail with a bracket

just a shot from the front

Is the shackle a stock RBV item? RB

yeah the shackles are the rear stock ones.....i have belltech on the rear leaves now so i just reused the rear for the front

I Dig it :icon_hornsup: what are you running for leafs? you should try those Rancho 44044 leafs. I bought them for my pathfinder SAS and have had very good results. extremely flexy. i was supprised. although i had the 4th leaf from the top removed to soften them up a little bit. either way looks sweet man killer brocx:drool: I just picked one up today. :icon_welder:

The leavs are a bastard child lol. the main leaf is a 4 dr Explorer and the rest are from the pile of leaves i have laying around. Trying to reuse what i already had as far as parts. The Hi-Steer part, Chromo shafts, and a locker are killing me so spending more on a set of leaves wasn't an option.

another step closer, one knuckle down one more to go

thanks evan:icon_cheers:

Worked on my locking hubs today. Had to midifiy them to work with my spindle set-up. I am using 75 chevy Knuckles, chevy spindles, chevy caliper bracket and calipers. Ford Rotor and Ford Hubs. I am suppose to use the chevy stubs with this combo cause they are a touch longer then the fords. So when installing all above components and using the ford stub, the stub doesn't stick through the spindle far enough to get the retaining clip on it. Well i ordered ford Chromo shafts, so i modified each of my four locking hubs to work with the Ford stubs. I have two of the stock cast type lock-outs (weaker ones) and then modified my Ford Lockouts that are pretty much indestructable (made from all metal except the dial). So now i have got all four Lockouts to work with the Knuckle set-up. I fi am feeling motivated tomorrow (day-off) i met just get medevil on the B2 with the plasma/sawzall:icon_twisted:

ORLY? fender choppage? :clapping:

Mulahahahaha, :idiot:not just fenders (loading pics now) with that said

up until a month ago, i had never even seen a plasma cutter being used in person. Only had seen them used on the TV. I bought one, But after this past month i am in love. My wife is jealous, i spend more time in the garage with the plasma then i do with her. If you have ever considered getting one, GET IT. I used to use the sawzall for everything. I don't think i have picked it up since i bought my plasma cutter.
